01

Ask in the thread.

Type "@Vista how did our Instagram posts do last week?" in any channel Vista is in. Vista reacts so you know it’s on it, then answers in the same thread, so the channel stays clean.

02

Keep the conversation going.

While it’s just you and Vista in a thread, reply without mentioning it again. Prefer to ask in private? Message Vista directly.

03

Plan and schedule.

Have Vista draft a post and put it on the calendar, or check what’s scheduled for next week. It works from your real Vista Social calendar and profiles.

04

Set it up per channel.

Admins can give each channel its own instructions, profile group, skill, and knowledge base, or turn Vista off in a channel.

Same people, same access as in Vista Social.

Vista works for people whose Slack email matches a Vista Social user, with that person's own Vista Social access. Admins can link anyone else by hand under Manage users.

Anyone in the account can connect the workspace. Only account admins can manage or disconnect it.

Vista only reads messages that mention it, or replies in a thread where it is already talking with you.

Answers are generated with an AI model (Anthropic Claude) using your Vista Social data, and your data is never used to train models. Disconnecting removes the workspace and its settings.

Common questions

No. Only messages that mention @Vista, and replies in a thread where Vista is already talking with you.

Yes, in Settings > Integrations > Slack > Manage channels.

Not necessarily. Vista matches the email on each person’s Slack profile to their Vista Social user and answers with that person’s own access. Two teammates can ask the same question in the same channel and get different answers if they can see different profiles. People without a Vista Social user on your account get a reply explaining why Vista can’t help.

Yes. Invite Vista to a private channel with /invite @Vista, and only that channel’s members see its answers. You can also message Vista directly. In a DM you only need to mention @Vista the first time.

Yes. In Manage channels, point a channel at a client’s profile group and knowledge base. Then “how did we do last week?” means that client, without anyone naming them.

Yes. Attach a spreadsheet, brief, or PDF to the message where you mention @Vista and say what you need. Vista reads the file before it answers, and can save things like post ideas to Vista Social.

Yes, from your account’s AI credits, the same as Ask Vista in Vista Social. Conversations started in Slack also show up in your Ask Vista chat list, marked with a Slack icon, so you can pick them up there.

Turn your Slack into your social media command center.

Add Vista to your Slack workspace, invite it to a channel, and send your first request.
