How do Creators get paid for Instagram Gifts?

Creators can get paid for Instagram Gifts by setting up a payout account on the app.

You can view and manage your Instagram Gift payouts in your Professional Dashboard > Your Tools Gifts > Payout Account.

It’s worth mentioning that IG will only send payment when the total amount reaches $100 USD.

Of course, with the issue of bots, if suspicious or fraudulent activity is detected, payouts could be delayed.

And, if you remember from Elon’s tweet, mobile platforms such as Apple take a 30% in-app purchase fee.

So, stars that are purchased in-app, in addition to the revenue share, a portion of the stars pack price also goes to the mobile platform (Apple for iOS and Google for Android).
